Communities In Schools of Central Texas is now accepting applications for the

2022 Achieve the Dream Fellowship for CIS Alumni

Communities In Schools recognizes and values the significant lived experience of our alumni. The Achieve the Dream Fellowship (ADF) provides alumni of Communities In Schools from any affiliate with opportunities to develop their professional knowledge and skills through administrative work in a non-profit setting. This is an up to three-year opportunity, with an annual review and re-commitment check-in to evaluate progress and explore the interests with the fellow. ADF Fellows will bring their own unique experience and fresh perspective to the work of Communities In Schools of Central Texas (CISCT), creating lasting positive change for the organization while receiving valuable professional experience.

Two Fellows will be hired: 

• ADF Volunteer Engagement Associate (40 hrs. a week)  
• ADF Student and Family Assistance Associate (40 hrs. a week)  

At the end of the three-year fellowship, there is no guarantee of continued employment with CISCT. 

Eligibility 

• Fellows must be former CIS students for at least a semester who have graduated from high school. 
• Fellows must be able to provide documentation verifying their identity and authorization for employment in the U.S. 
• Prior work experience and post-secondary experience is not required.
