CIS AmeriCorps Positions
Our AmeriCorps members work to end education inequity by providing mentorship to elementary and middle school students in Central Texas public schools and by supporting our early childhood education and family engagement services through our ASPIRE program.
2023-2024 Position Openings
*Full-time members typically work M-F 7-4pm, 7:30-4:30pm or 8-5pm.
**Half-time members have great flexibility within school hours. Example schedules: M/T/W/Th 8-2pm; W-F 9-5pm
What You’ll Do
Student Mentor
Provide weekly mentoring to elementary or middle school students through one-on-one meetings and small-group facilitation to increase academic engagement and social emotional skills.
ASPIRE Early Childhood Teaching Assistant
Support CIS ASPIRE programming and build capacity for increased early childhood services and family engagement.
