What are Key Performance Indicators?

Key Performance Indicators, or KPIs, are one of the ways that we can measure organizational health. KPIs are the critical quantifiable indicators that help us track progress toward our goals. KPIs help us answer the questions:

  • Is what we’re doing having the intended impact?
  • Are we on track to achieving our goals?

KPIs are one way that we can understand the breadth of the work we do here at CIS. It’s easy to see the impact we have at the campus level, and sometimes even at the program level. But what about the impact we have across all of our programs and districts? CIS’s impact is complex and multi-layered; through numbers (quantitative data) and stories (qualitative data), we can begin to understand the dynamic impact of our work.

KPI Dashboard

Here you will find a dashboard that shows our current organizational KPIs for 2023. These KPIs are a summary of our organizational goals, and our progress toward meeting these goals.
