CIS helps school districts improve attendance, reduce discipline referrals, and respond to tragedies. Our evidence-based approach, adapted to meet each campus and community’s needs, is the basis for our success.
Highlights from the 2018 Impact Report:
- Intensive, ongoing supports provided for 5,879 students, and short term services for an additional 35,958 students
- 66 elementary, middle and high school campuses were served last year
- Our work helped 6 area school districts improve attendance, reduce discipline referrals, respond to tragedies, and improve school climate and safety
- 99% of students stayed in school, 96% were graduated or promoted, and 88% improved academics, behavior, and/or attendance
