Bertha Sadler Means YWLA Girl’s Conference

Drive-Thru Event Date: Saturday, March 6th 10 a.m. to noon

6401 N. Hampton Drive Austin, TX 78723

FRESH OFF THE PRESS!

SAUL PAUL WILL BE PERFORMING AS FAMILIES DRIVE THRU FROM 10-10:30am!

Bertha Sadler Means YWLA is hosting our 6th Annual Girl’s Conference (Drive Thru Edition), Saturday, March 6, from 10am to 12pm. Each student (5th  thru 9th grade) who comes through will receive a free “Success Bag” with more than 20 free items from Central Texas businesses and organizations. Registration is not required, but bags will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. The Central Texas Food Bank will also be on hand supplying food packs for families while supplies last. And Grammy-nominated musician Saul Paul will open the event, by performing as families drive through.

Success Bags will include items from Central Market, Dell, Whataburger, Camp Gladiator, Paul Mitchell, Urban Roots, Girl’s Empowerment Network, and so much more!

While we worked to make this event as gender neutral as possible, the event itself is formulated based on an anonymous survey we give our students at Bertha Sadler Means Young Women’s Leadership Academy. So marketing this event towards female-identifying students in 5th thru 9th grade may support their needs better, but as always you know your students best.
